Kristen Sernett

Kristen has a holistic approach to therapy that helps clients learn about how the mind and body are interconnected. The skills and techniques used in therapy help to meet clients where they are at emotionally while promoting growth and independence. She has experience working with children, teenagers, and adults from all different backgrounds in multiple mental health settings.

Kristen received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. Kristen is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also a Gottman Level 2 trained Therapist.

Kristen works with children, teenagers, and adults who experience depression, grief/loss, anxiety, mood disorders, life stressors, and behavioral issues. She has special interest in working with teenagers and young adults who experience mental health issues.
