She works with children, teens and adults with a wide range of behavioral and emotional issues including autism, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, depression, anxiety, abuse, and grief.
When a client sees Christina for behavioral therapy and emotional intervention, including play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, she provides validation, collaborative problem-solving, empathy, and reflective listening. Building coping skills while processing through past trauma, fears, or underlying issues help's Christina's clients work towards being happier and healthier.
Christina is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago and received her graduate Master's Degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She holds certifications for Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). She also is a Gottman Level 1 trained couples therapist.
